For 25 years, The Floral Cottage has proudly served Ascension Parish and the surrounding areas. We specialize in luxury weddings and events, but also love to share our passion for flowers with the community through our Floral Boutique.

Randee Gagnon

Randee, our Owner and Lead Floral Designer, rediscovered her love for flowers after years as a Speech-Language Pathologist, becoming a second-generation Floral Designer. When she’s not designing, she enjoys exploring the world through food and travel with her husband and two daughters.

The Faces Behind The Emails

Danielle

Danielle is our Lead Event Specialist + Delivery Coordinator. When she’s not here, she loves spending time camping with her family and friends. She’s a mama of 2! Harper is 4, and Eliza was born in August! Danielle is our unofficial “HR” and always keeps us laughing at the shop. You’ll typically find her doing consultations, writing beautiful emails, or mobile ordering chick-fil-a.

Hannah

Hannah is an Event Specialist, Floral Designer, and our Social Media Manager. She loves animals (especially sharks), and all things pink, girly + floral. She’s a cat mom to Mrs. Willow Bean Puff + Moose, and loves spending time with her family and boyfriend. When she’s not here, she’s usually spending time with her Grandma or her cats! When she’s here, she’s typically chatting with brides, designing, or creating content.

roni

Roni is an Event Specialist, our rental + supply lead, and our Flower Processing Lead. She loves to cook, read, and play with her bunny Hokey! She loves seeing the new flowers that come in each week. When she’s not here, she’s usually down the road getting a Dr. Pepper from Oak Grove. When she’s here, she’s typically responding to emails, ordering supplies, keeping EVERYTHING in order, + updating proposals!

Becky

Becky is the founder of The Floral Cottage! She first opened the shop in 1999, and is still here doing what she loves, which is playing with flowers! When she’s not here, she loves spending time baking with her grandchildren + doing home projects. We call her Beck-Home-Ecky because she can whip out ANYTHING we possibly need out of nothing. When she’s here, you’ll typically find her whipping out designs in 2 shakes of a lamb’s tail!

Joelle

Joelle has been a designer at The Floral Cottage for longer than she can remember! She loves spending time with her fiancé, Nora, and shopping at the Amazon return center. (then bringing half the stuff she buys to the shop). Her favorite part about her job is expressing her creativity every day! When she’s here, you’ll find her designing, sharing her lunch with everyone, or harvesting chadron from the front yard.

ann

Ann recently joined our team + became our Retail manager! She loves helping our retail customers + designing our daily fresh floral arrangements! She loves her me-time and being with her friends + family! Her favorite part of her job is designing with fresh flowers + cracking up with her hilarious coworkers. You’ll typically find her helping customers, filling our daily orders, and surprising all of us with little gifts on the daily. (She is The Floral Cottage Miss Congeniality)

The Floral Cottage has grown to a talented team of event + retail floral designers, wedding/event staff + specialists and shop assistants. You’ll find our team flowering all over Baton Rouge + the surrounding areas.
